Finally bit the bullet to get the torque converter done for judder and surging revs...
Had the dreaded news of glycol in the ATF this evening and staring down the barrels of a large bill...
I always hoped I wasn't going to be having to ask for advice on this.
What is the current wisdom... New radiator or auxiliary ATF cooler?
Does the whole gearbox always need refurbing along with the torque converter...
Am I right in thinking that ZF will exchange the torque converter?
From people's experience what sort of ball park figure should I be looking at price wise....
Didn't get a chance to talk to the garage tonight so all advice gratefully received ready for the morning.
