Goodyear Duratrac
Just bagged myself the last set of 19" duratracs from AJS in Reigate. Hoping for good things from them this winter. Full reviews to follow when in venture off the beaten track, but first impressions seem a bit noisier than the General Grabbers but nothing obtrusive. Great service as always from the guys.D4 Bluetooth module fitted

Enjoy them and please keep us up to speed on all the performance +'s and -'s, agree noise is higher than General AT.
Thanks yet again for your business.

Update.................
After much rain and wet tarmac i would say these are better than the general grabber at's! Yet to try off road, as moving house at the mo also, but i will update as soon as i do!
I have 2 disco 3's both with 19's, one with the general grabbers and 1 with the duratrac's, so have managed to do some research and compare the 2. On the wet roads the duratracs seem really really solid, more so than the at's, same story in the dry too!
Awaiting the white stuff to land then i will post some more reviews!D4 Bluetooth module fitted

Any reason why they are out of stock for such a time?

They only seem to make them in small amounts and we still havr no fixed date.
My Bro had the same issue with his choice of Goodyear to fit is Landcruiser Amazon, in the end he had to fit something so went for BFG AT's, not at all happy with them and got a good 40k to do on them now Altox GSM FBH controller thread

The BFGoodrich works very well on the Amazon's, bet he is on 16" wheels so would have been looking for 265/75x16 or 285/75x16.
Yep that's the ones Andy the issue with the BFG is the flat tread and almost vertical sidewall, the tyres seem to skip sideways on cornering, almost falling of the tread so to speak on a county roads, which is of course where he lives in the sticks
The Goodyear's have a more rounded shoulder on the tread and seem to flex a little more, all personal choice I'm sureAltox GSM FBH controller thread

One of our work cars is an Amazon on 18" wheels at present it runs on 285/65x18 BFG AT KO's but we are just about to test the General AT in 275/70x18, not sure if these will be widely available in this size though as we have to give them a long test.

I have a set of these in the 265/70-17 size. So far, I have no complaints at all, although they can sound slightly noisy if you corner quickly ... Mind you, they're not a 'performance' tyre.Regards,
