D3 FBH doesn’t work
Hi all
New to the site and I haven’t begun any investigation as to why the FBH isn’t working. But I’ve tested it in cold enough conditions and it doesn’t start up.
Land Rover have quoted £120 for an initial hour of diagnostics and repair in which they aim to have it working again.
Just wanted to ask if there’s any easy fixes or common problems that I could do at home before committing to leaving it with LR.
Any help appreciated

My FBH stopped working in the D3. The independent I use reset it using their computer and all was the OK. They said it had locked out and this can happen if the fuel level is very low, i.e. fuel light on and the computer does let the FBH run. They suggested to not let the level in the tank get so low that the light came on in cold weather.
I don’t know why the computer not letting the FBH start counted as a ‘fail to start’ and after two or three fail to start it locked out.
Maybe an independent can reset it for you.Disco 4

Worth trying the reset using the fuse first to see if it's a simple lockout.
Any more than that will need to use the Webasto diagnostics really, I sell a loom/kit to do it. You just need a Windows PC (laptop) to run the software.
