Hi all, hope someone can help me or allay my concerns over the following: I have recently purchased a D3 2005 plate with only 37k on the clock. It has had a recent service and new MOT. All appears fine apart from the fact I get a message "low coolant level" every time I start and finish a journey. I have checked the coolant level and this appears fine and the temp gauge never rises above halfway and the engine is not overheating. I have only driven relatively short journies. Grateful for any advice. Fledge

its a common failure in earlier coolant tanks.
the float becomes porous and then doesnt err float anymore.
Its about £30 for the new tank and not difficult to change. Bodsys Brake Bible

Mine used to do it when accelerating hard. Replaced and fault gone.
