Australian Auction

It seems a bit upside down... Lets see how it goes.

These seats

are currently on eBay, but have not sold after 30 days. They have to go, because I'm selling up and moving away on 25th October.

Today, the price is £300. It will fall by £30 each day until they're sold.
Wednesday 17th £270
Thursday 18th £240
Friday 19th £210
Saturday 20th £180
Sunday 21st £150
Monday 22nd £120
Tuesday 23rd £90
Wednesday 24th £60
Thurdsday 25th they'll be in a skip.

Payment will be half to me, cash on collection, half to Alzheimer's Society http://www.alzheimers.org.uk/

I will decide if bids fall within a certain day according to the post time, according to my profile, which is set to GMT+1.

Post your interest publicly, PMs will not be counted.

No delivery options offered - it's collection by 25th Oct or they end up in a skip. If you're planning to arrange a commercial courier, ask them if they will be willing to pallet and wrap the seats, because what they get when they arrive is going to look very much like the picture above.

The seats... Are from a 2008 Freelander SE. They are electric, heated, but non-memory. I see these as a project - with the time, I could de-skin them, adjust the electrics for a D3/4, and re-skin them with the leather or fabric from the recipient vehicle. I've done it myself on other seats, it's not trivial, but with a bit of patience it's possible for just about any idiot.

Rob. if it helps your auction, I could offer short term storage for the seats pending collection by the winning bidder. Thumbs Up

Gareth; very kind offer - thanks.

Chris; physically they fit without modification. Electrically it's a bit more of a challenge. I can supply wiring diags of the FL2 seats and of D3 or D4 vehicle loom. It's up to you to connect the dots.

Cheers rob for that, should have said the 57 plate GS is a freelander 2 Embarassed so wondered if it was just a plug under my original seat and yours just plug straight in like with lots of basic spec landrovers the equipment is there but just not enabled

Oh, I see.

Really not sure at all unfortunately. I've seen the guts of a few D3s but only one FL2, the SE that these came out of.

Right, I've been blind drunk for the last 72 hours. Where are we up to?

Any takers at £120? Or are you all camped outside my house looking for the skip?
