D4 MY12 Sat Nav Freezing - resolved by s/w update (I hope)
Couldn't find this mentioned elsewhere, but I've had a problem with the 'detail' view on the sat nav freezing up when there are a several junctions close together. The main screen updates OK and the junction name and distance countdown keep going, but the map is still showing the first junction.

Anyway, having described the problem, I'm glad to say that it appears to have been solved by one of the FIVE patches they applied at the service this week! Hasn't helped the appalling slowness that has been mentioned on here - where it really annoys me is entering a postcode into the satnav - but the freezing was a right pain

Mine sometimes takes ages to"initialise" and keeps defaulting to Belgium, its going in next week for a check over and stern talking to.

I find that when putting in a postcode you can keep going by pressing the next letter/number even when it's greyed out as it catches up. Makes it a lot quicker.
Know what you mean though, for a £50k+ car there are some very annoying little faults which I'm sure LR could have sorted prior to release!
