Where is the outside temp sensor on Disco4?

Behind the front bumper.
If you remove the trim that covers the front tow point and then lie on the floor and look up behind the bumper you can see it. It's wires come in from the right hand side of the vehicle.

Thanks JohnM will have a look I am going to try and fool the webasto heater that it is 5c to see if it works LR are saying the Discovery 4 HSEhas timed heating but nothing shows up on the info screen I am visiting the dealers next week as only had car 3 weeks.

Timed climate is standard on the 2012 HSE (don't know about older ones).
Timed climate will work well above 5C, it's only the automatic running of the heater when starting the engine that needs the temp to be below 5C.
The timed climate setting are accessed from the main screen. One of the buttons on the left should say "Extra Options" or similar, pressing that button takes you to a new screen that has buttons for the timed climate and 4x4 info.

The Discovery is 2011BUT on the sales sheet it states that the car has Timed heating, just had a email from dealer and they will enable the heating AND give the car a full valet service for my trouble.
