I've got a really odd aux port issue on my LR3 V6 SE ( yes i'm in the US, but i'm from the UK orginally)
When I plug my iphone in to the aux port it unlatched the boot door and then the switch wont work on the boot handle.
unhook the iphone and the boot latch works as normal again.
it just started tonight on the way home from work.
anyone have any idea where to even start looking to fix this?

Is your LR3 standard or has it been modified on the audio system at all? 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

It's completely stock
The audio system is the one with the phone pad on it
It it's also none navigation
Now that I think about it even from day one and I've had this from new when using the aux connector to my iPod iPhone etc I've had some minor cut out of one of the speakers every so often
Didn't think much about it since I listen to audio books using it not music

Ok update
Tested to see if it was still doing it this morning and now everything is working fine
We did have a hard and heavy rain and lightning storm yesterday (heavy for even Tampa florida)
Maybe a short due to rain or even emp from the lightning I don't know
Will keep the post updated if there are any developments
