Hi,
Just came back from Auvergne(France) where i tested the D3 with new Yokohama Geolandar 255/60/18.
They did really good, as well on the highway wit lots of rain at high speed, as well as on mountain forest tracks full of wet leafs and dirt.
I risked some real off road also on some step climb sharp rock paths. I really held my breath because i didn't have a full spare wheel( only a spare tyre in the back).
But the sharp rocks didn't seem to harm the strengthened side walls of the tyres this time.
They look great also with their light aggressive pattern.
Seems they have good performances in light snow also but we will have to wait some more months to try this out.
Anyway we are very pleased of this buy.

That's great many thanks. It's a big purchase for a set of tyres and I don't want to buy something that's rubbish. The general grabber at's seem to be a favourite on here though ?

Yes i know, the GG were also my favorites on the Defender but the Discovery is far more heavy and even my dealers chief of technics (a guy with tons of experience) advised me not to take them be because of their weak side walls.
The Geolandar is not an A/T but he makes some good compromises and for me safety also comes first.
I run all 4 tires on 2.5bar (Landrover advises 2.3 on Disco3)
