For Sale Lower Glovebox - Good handle/catch
If like me your one of the many D3 owners with a broken handle/catch on you lower glovebox then this would be good for you.
I purchased it recently and planned to rip it apart to use the handle and mechanism to replace the broken handle on my Black one.
However it's in really good condition, the inside flock finish looks like it may never have been fitted to vehicle as it's not marked in any way. The outside is also in exceptional unmarked condition, so rather than ruin it I thought I'd offer it for sale at the £40 it cost me, or would rather swap it for a Black one with a good handle.
It would be best collected because of the size, but I could probably post it for @£6 on top.

I'm in the broken catch gang. How much would the nice one be destroyed to get to the catch? Is it easy enough to swap one over? Would be interested if so.

Changing the whole thing over is quite easy if it's the right colour.
Unfortunately the outer part is Bonded or plastic welded to the inner, so you'd need to break the joined bits then find a way to join them back together after fitting the new bits.
I'm sure it's not imposible, and if this doesn't sell soon I'm going to have a go.

Yes, mines black so it's not the simple door swap for me. It does look far too good to butcher, so I'll leave it for someone who needs one in that colour Will probably order a new lower glove box from TLO instead.
