Hello! Aplogies, as not D3 related!
But, I've just got my wife a 2004 TD4 Freelander and it has 17" rims on it (225 55 17 tyres). It needs new tyres all round and I'm wondering whether Freelander 2 wheels will fit?
Also are Land Rover wheels standard? So would most 17" rims fit? I assume that I couldnt go bigger or smaller as the speedo wouldn't read correctly, unless the the profile counter acted this?
Anyway, thought I'd ask the wise on here and would appreciate your responses! Now onto my second D3, alongside my fourth FFRR - I don't learn!

Sadly FL2 rims don't fit. In fact, FL1 rims are pretty unique and nothing else from other manufacturers fits. I have some 17" vortex pattern rims I use for winter tyres and they took a while to track down. ended up buying some really scruffy ones and getting them refurbished.
Watch out if buying 16" rims as the physically similar pre 2001 rims don't fit on post 01 hubs. Cracked discs will ensue.....

Thanks for that, glad I asked now! Just a set of tyres it is!
Wheels are fine anyway, it was just that there seemed to be some bargain FL2 wheels about. Now onto my second D3, alongside my fourth FFRR - I don't learn!
