The stereo in my D3 S has started playing up: It seems to lose sound intermittently from the drivers side ffront speaker and also struggles to hold a signal.
Just wondered if its anything obvious or is it kaput and needs replacing?

The speaker is most likely to be the voice coil - intermittent but comes back if you increase the volume perhaps ?
As for signal loss check connections to in glass aerial often the culprit ....
Cant remember if yours is the base audio or not - if base then ditch it and fit an aftermarket like mine, you will not regret it
