| Traxide SCI-160 Split Charge System |

Has anybody got the Traxide SCI-160 fitted on a D3? (Not the SC-80)
Delivered from Tim in Oz the other day, but it seems its' a little bigger than the SC-80 and doesn't fit in the usual spot!
I've got the winch solenoid in the space where the alarm sounder once was so I can't use that space either.....
My only thought at present is to stick some RTV sealant on the joins in the box and stick it outside of the the battery box......

Hi CDS and the new USI-160 kits are set up so the isolator is mounted just in front of the cranking battery, not in the auxiliary battery compartment like the SC80-LR kits.
Do you get the installation instructions PDF E-mailed to you? 2008 TDV8 RR Lux + 2009 D4 2.7

 Just as well I didn't start drilling holes just yet then.
No pdf on email, I found it on your site via the linky on AULRO - skimmed over it but not spotted that it needs locating over by the cranking battery. Will re-read it today

Hi again CDS, I use to supply the installation instructions on a CD with each kit but I now have so many different kits, I now send the instructions via e-mail to speed things up.
PM me your e-mail address and I’ll have the full installation instructions sent back to you. 2008 TDV8 RR Lux + 2009 D4 2.7

G'day Bodsy and so far I have not seen an pictures of the area in front of the cranking battery in a D3 or D4 with FBH but I have supplied a number of kits with the new USI-160 isolator and they seem to fit ( bloody lucky ).
The new isolator is higher than the SC80-LR but has a smaller footprint.
It about the size of a tennis ball, if that helps. 2008 TDV8 RR Lux + 2009 D4 2.7

Just been out to the car park at work, and it looks like it will fit if moved over slightly from where shown on Tim's pics on the guide. Not got the SCi-160 with me, but will try it this evening and try to get a pic
