Dell Small Desktops KITS & Servers(approved by Martin)
As new(ie very little if no use on these machines!)
Minimum spec is;
- At least 17months of Dell Next Business Day warranty(fully stress tested by me before selling anyway)
- Dual Core Intel E5400 processor
- 2GB Ram(upgradeable at request/Expense)
- 160GB HDD(upgradeable at request/Expense)
- 19" Dell monitor
- Windows 7 64Bit Pro installed
- Microsoft Security essentials installed
- All updates already applied
- Dell FullSize Keyboard
- Dell 6 Button laser mouse
£300
New these would be around double that but they have now been superceded by Dell for the 990 USFF model.
As always any sold will get a donation sent to keep the forum going and if 3 or machines are ordered the price comes down.
Servers also available, Dell T410 and also a HP DL160 G5 1u.
Also available....
Their spec is,
- Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 processor
- 1GB RAM
- Standard Dell Keyboard and Mouse(infrared type)
- 80GB HDD
- 17" Dell TFT
- Windows 7 Pro 64bit
- Microsoft Security Essentials
- All software updates applied
£140 delivered to any UK mainland address.
As above memory/HDD can be upgraded for a little more than the cost price of the hardware involved,
IE a 2GB ram upgrade would be about £25, 4gb £45....

You wouldn't happen to know if the motherboard on any of these two is the same as the D600?

Providing the m/b is functional, that sounds good (think the one in mine if fried, again - does not even power up, neither under AC power or battery...)
Wouldn't mind a memory module or two either for it if available
Drop me a PM with cost and UK postage when you get around to it.

Don't know what's the difference I have an old optiplex that is overdue replacement but when I bought it I specked a good monitor and wireless key board and mouse of the type that cannot be had anymore and the new ones are horrid in comparison so want to keep those
