Muddy D3
Hi,
New here and pretty new to the Land Rover World. Already love it. Thought I'd upload a few pics of my D3 before I start ripping her apart and adding stuff on!
My friend took this picture by accident!

Just been stuck in a big hole for 30 minutes (needed a freelander to pull me out and nearly broke his clutch in the process....)

Didn't get stuck but almost....

Welcome! Nice D3.
If you're going to do that regularly you might want to look up Bodsy's brake bible in the wiki, so you can clean and free up you're hand brake shoes before any issues arise with actuator.
Happy off roading.

First one looks great When you say it was taken by accident were you running him over at the time? Second shot looks like you got it into super extended mode Cheers Ian

Thanks!
Already had to take the handbrake mechanism apart and separate it as it had screw'd itself all the way to the end (even without using the release in the cab). Took me 4 hours (with the majority of that time on Google!) to fix it. Better than separating with several hundred hard earned pounds at Land Rover though....
He had just taken another picture of her from a bit further away, was moving out the way (of the mud, not the car), clicked the button to take a photo and it turned out to be one of the best of the day!
She was in super-extended mode as she was sat on her belly, 3 out of 4 wheels off the ground. Hit the hole really hard as I'd already tried it once and got the nose stuck, so I reversed and got a bit of speed up. Turned out to be a bad idea.....
Other than the handbrake being REALLY noisy now (still works though), the brake pads need replacing every 2 minutes, the parking sensors keep snapping, the air compressor getting louder by the day and the aux belt tensioner wheel separating from the ball bearings and nearly crashing into the fan and the radiator, shes not a bad car considering she's at the grand old age of 3!
