Help no Audio

Hi all, over the last few months the audio in the car has been intermittent. All radio controls work but it was as if I had a loose speaker connection.
Now I know that the system is fiber channel based and when I was looking at the amp under the drivers seat the other day I unplugged the fiber cables (left most cables as you look at the back of the amp) and only one had a light coming through it. I am hoping that this is my problem rather than a new amp!!!

I just wondered if my thoughts are correct and how do I trace the cable back from the amp.

Any help would be much appreciated.

on the most cable, you will generally only have light coming out of one when you lok at it as it needs to go through the device youve plugged it into and back OUT to the other most cable. You would then get a light at the end of the next device input in the chain.

Check all fuses especially for the phone module, amp, head unit, touchscreen

I'm assuming it all powers on OK, but when you turn the sound up, the screen doesnt change?

Hi, everything works as it should there is just no sound from the unit. I can turn it all the way up to 35.
When I look at the fiber cable the light is coming through on the right hand cable, but not the left hand one.
I have looked at the amp fuse, but will check the others as suggested.

You need to do a hard reset and see if that helps...

Sounds like you have a similar problem to the one i've had for a while now. If hard reset doesn't work you will need to find someone who can test your optic cable circuit with an optic loop, with this you will hopefully find where your fault is.
