Radio/12v auto shut off
Out camping the other week, decided to put the radio on in the car while we had some breakfast, windows down great ..........until it decides to turn itself off after a few minutes !
Out last night blowing a new air-bed up, using the 12v plug from the rear ............ again after a few minutes decides that's enough of that and turns itself off !!
Now I know it's probably a safety feature of saving the battery but is it me having the key in my pocket and not in the car that's causing the problem or am I missing something ?

You're not missing anything. It all shuts down every 10 minutes. Really annoying when sitting in the car waiting for SWMBO to finish shopping and you want to listen to the radio.
I've not found any way of listening to the radio for more than 10 minutes at a time without the engine running. Has anyone found a way?

I found opening the door puts the power back on... but it is such a hassle to do it every 10 minutes or so the time you said. I didn't really time the interval, but found this to be the way to turn the accessory power back on without starting.

In nearly every car I've owned you could put radio on etc without turning the ignition to full on, without all lights on dash lighting up, and this worked perfect, and I would say most are same now !
LR ........... any reason behind your way of thinking ?!
Soooooo annoying !!!

I think this is the way...an hour is a very good interval.
