Hi all. Has anyone had the cranck shaft sensor changed? The reason i ask is because the other week i had a problem with the disco witch made the engine cut out and wouldnt start again until the gone to sleep mode kicked in. Info display showing hdc and special functions unavailable also suspension went to access position. It did this three times in quick s
succesion!
Next day i read and cleared fault codes with my BAS box ,codes include P0335 & P0336 which relate to crank shaft sensor range/performance fault and crank shaft sensor circuit A fault.
I have since driven 300 miles with no problems.
Anyone got any ideas.
If you read this thread Pete Bell. Thankyou very much for all your advice you gave me late that sunday evening D3 bonatti grey

Yes i have changed a few back in the days
Nasty thing as it might be sensor as well as magnetic ring on the crank
To replace sensor turbo has to come of (as i can recall it was long ago)
Shortly after you might find out still no good and ring needs replacement
so its easier to remove gearbox and change them together
(no need to touch turbo)
