Cant find the right fuse! (feel dumb) - heated seats stopped

Confused

Heated seats stopped working last week. Both front and both backs. All switch lights come on, but no heat?!!

I've searched the forum and the manual but the manual/or car labels don't even have a fuse marked on the diagrams for the heated seats at all. Then again, maybe the switch lights wouldn't come on if the fuse was out.

The electric seat adjustment is working fine as well as everything else...

If any of you have some pointers, I'd obviously be pleased to hear...

Is there not a fuse/ appliance indicator on the back of the fuse box cover in the passenger footwell?

There's the main fuse cluster behind the the lower glovebox and there's the label/list with nothing indicated for heated seats. Neither there or anywhere else.

The manual doesn't list it either.

Confused

Is that because the fuse is in the group of big fuses under the bonet - can't check book right now.

Sad

Both uses fine...

Can't imagine it would be a connector under the seats as it would surely mean only one seat would be out.

Strange.

i would suspect you have other issues ....the lights on the switches wouldnt be on if the fuse's had gone

if your car battery was very low ..it would have disabled the heated seats while the car started

mmm!... maybe you're right... the battery was new last Jan, but of course being cold it can go up the swanny... the manual says the seats take masses of battery power.

can also work in the opposite way

"To protect the heater elements, the ATCM disables front seat heating if battery voltage exceeds 16.5 ± 0.3 volts for more than 5 seconds"

have you tryed the seats since ? ...maybe just do one seat and see if it heats up

Cheers Wiggs... but I suppose there's little I can do. I don't understand electrics, like Japanese to me... suppose I could get someone to do some tests. I think you're a bit out of my area unfortunately.

Heated Seats not working and a moarning missus

Both front seats not heating - back ones work fine

The lights come on the switch and the 25amp fuses are okay, also noted the lights come on for the switch with fuses removed. cabling appears to be okay disconected and reconected the main seat plug and the hanging plug onder the seat.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as Wife isnt happy I can't just magic them fixed.

Cheers
