| New off-roading venue, Oxfordshire |

Ok boys and girls, we have around 60 spare acres in Oxon, between Oxford and Cheltenham.
We are looking at a few ideas to use the land properly, including re-introducing specialist livestock, establishing a craft centre and some others. An obvious one (for me anyway!) might be to establish an off-roading / adventure centre...
What do you think about:
1. Location (30 mins west of Oxford)
2. Potential for business (do enough 4x4 owners still use dedicated centres?)
3. What would you like to see (type of course, catering, general facilities)
4. Anything else you consider helpful
This is your opportunity to perhaps shape our business! If there's sufficient positive feedback from research, perhaps we could organise a working / advisory committee.

I would be mega keen but I couldnt claim to be an off roading speciliast. Just been in a field if this counts ?  I live in Herts so not too far away but would love the opportunity to try my car out for what it is designed for. even more so now i have warranty on it !!!!

Mr Kington does your warranty cover off-road use; many don't.
I'm with Warranty Direct, and they had to confirm that using a BOAT (Byway) to get to my home, fields when shooting, at Goodwood Car Parks, and Points to Point were OK - nothing else.
NJSS Am I Gammon or Woke ? - I neither know nor care.

having run an adventure site in the past (paintball.4x4.tank driving. go cats.) here is my advice based on experience.
off road course. only do a simple non damaging one. with use it will become intermediate. this caters to the largest market
do full risk assessments. you will get sued at some stage.(disclaimers only fool the ignorant)
the local council will complain about the damage to the en vironment and limit your usw to once a month ( thos does not affect income as peaple just all come on one day)
buy a mobile sandwich van that complies with food safety standards.(converting something to a kitchen costs much more)
get good insurance.
feel free to pm for other info(maybe not suitable for here) It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.

 I find this strange question, can you please expand on the thinking, I mean it's not the insurance your asking about which bu law we have to have and they tend to  you over any chance given.
warranty is given on the build quality; does it matter when / where something that is supposed to be able to go off road breaks  Experience is a difficult teacher, because she gives the test first and then the lesson afterwards!!!!

Im hopefully going to be running off road course days in the Midalnds soon, the course will have plenty of zero damage tracks and some more challenging !!! We can offer 4 star guest house accommodation , caravaning or camping. The site also has quad bikes, children's play areas and a restaurant. Il post some pics later of a Range Rover going round it we took earlier this week
