LRA on its way, any advice welcome! |
|
Freelander, 9 months old has developed a metallic knocking noise on right hand corners. Initially thought it was something rolling around but only present on right hand bends. On getting home wobbling N/S rear wheel replicated the noise a couple of times but has now stopped. Looked underneath and can't see anything obviously broken. Any advice most welcome.
Thanks, BCP

Have you tried asking the same question over on our Freelander sister site:

Someone may be able to help you out over there. Arctic Frost RR Sport. TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Tow pack, PTI, Privacy Glass, Tasmods, Mudflaps & a RRSport umbrella in the boot.

Excellent response from LRA. Noise present on right hand bends but not from the suspension etc. Safe to drive but no obvious cause.

Just a possibility BCP, front anti roll bar links / bushes can become noisy / worn at quite an early age, but would've thought LRA would have checked these for you.
