possible brake issue

i had to do a fairly heavy stop on the brakes today from 70mph Rolling Eyes and the brakes faded quite badly , the front has recent discs/pads and the rears have plenty meat on them , i was wondering if mine missed the recall for the servo issue, is there any way to tell if its been done or what to check for
its a 55my

Yes bud check your black plastic pipe that comes from your servo if its been done there is a t-piece in it with extra bits of pipe.

If it was brake fade, I would imagine you would have smelled the brake pads cooking away

Ask your local dealer to check your chassis number on their records to see if the recall was done

I remember the car. Whoever was fixing it was on the phone asking for advice on the fuel tank

We never worked on the car, not sure if we even supplied any parts...

Anyway, the mintex pads tend to take a while to bed in, and usually smell until they do so. I would imagine you would know if it was the servo at fault, as the pedal gets harder and harder, and feels like it is pushing back at you

My had done a recall and yet the replaced parts had to be changed again...... yes with a lot of fuss from the Bangkok dealer.... so really even if there has been a recall... it could happen again.
