Digital Temperature accuracy |

Hi friends can u please tell me how accurate the digital temperature is shown inside the disco 4 as today afternoon I wato informed by the local radio that the temperature was 34 degree in the city and inside the discovery it was showing 23 so guys I was just wondering what was going wrong.

Not sure if this will help, but when I was in Morocco last year the D4 external temp was reading well below what others (not D4s) in the group were reading - e.g. when they were reading 38-40 degrees mine was reading only just over 30 degrees. I thought the temperature at the time was actually well above 30 degrees.
Having said that, in the UK it appears to give temperatures very close to those given out by the radio or sometimes displayed on large commercial buildings - certainly up to the mid 20s. Andrew

While in France mine was very accurate within 1 degree of a thermometer, ranging from 21 upto 39 degrees. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

I would suggest that you compare it with a thermometer that is very near to your car (or even better - in your car's front bumper) and measuring the same air.
There could be a significant temperature difference between where your car is and where the radio station is measuring the temperature.
I would say that mine is normally +/- 1°C compared with the thermometer on the wall next to my D4 when it's parked at home.
