We had 3 keys 2 for Jon,s D3 and 1 new one when we paired the new key it deactivated the second key of the original keys then we reacitvated that key it deactivated the new one so it seems for the moment you can only have 2 keys activated at any one time more testing me thinks
Ps I've done 2 more keys recently with no problems at all
So Geoff does this mean you can have more than 2 keys bound to the car

I feel so dumb, but...
WHERE do i select the "MSV2 key learning Procedure" ???
On the MSV2 Faultmate stand-alone, OR in the Veichle Explorer software ?
I couldn't find it in any way .

I bought new key for D3 on eBay and learned it to my D3 using SDD. Process ended with message about successful procedure. Unfortunately, central locking doesn't work at all, but car starts without problems. I checked that key with spectrum analyser - frequency is 433Mhz as required. So there is problem with learning may be.. Questions: it is safe re-learn key? Any other thoughts, why central locking doesn't work and what i can do?

You need to check the splice in the front passenger side in the sill about half way along, there is a wire splice that has three wires joined there and the joint corrodes leaving you without central locking. Just do a search on here there are plenty of posts on it.

When i bought Disco, there was only one key. It works properly with central locking. I bought that second key fob only as spare.

I lost a key on an EasyJet flight a few weeks ago - chances of getting it back seemed slim so I bought a new one from TLO and paired it using Geoff's instructions and my Faultmate MSV 2.
Worked perfectly 1st time - thanks for the instructions Geoff.
Anyway my question is - If by some miracle EasyJet eventually get my original key back will it still work or has the new key overwritten the old one?

@ VMatas
Then your problem must be with your key or it not properly being learned to your vehicle.
@ djcleckie
If your origional key is later found, you should be able to recover this and use it as well as the new one

Never paired a key with the MSV2 as yet, but with any other systems I have used, all available keys must be programmed at the same time, otherwise the key is disabled My D3 Build Thread

Geoff did a write up on using the FM to re-program the keys, have a search on the site.. you cant rush it and you have to wait for the on screen instructions.
