Funny Things afoot
Hi All
Bit new to the D3 ownership and was aware of all the issues that may happen before getting it ie money set aside for problems...
Got a 56 plate 7seat base model. Had it a month or so and has driven really well couple of small issues that i need to address when i get home from a trip. However in the meantime my wife was saying that on a town drive home the Hill descent light came on very spuriously when accelerating from an uphill start. and stayed for about 2 miles before going off. Is this a faulty sensor or am i hopeful in that the switch maybe dicky. Also when going into reverse the rear wiper switched on spuriously.
I intend to purchase Fault code reader when i get back but in meantime any ideas?
On the code reader can someone advise the connection for interface is it a OBD port to connect into so i can purchase it in advance...

I don't know about the hill decent light, but the rear wiper on mine will run in the usual intermittent wipe mode when the cars both in reverse and the front wiper is also set to intermittent or auto. I thought this was a good feature!

It has happened before, so I will ask the question - she didn't have her handbag resting on the terrain response controls (or yellow HDC button) did she?
