Blackvue Question

Hi all,

Jut got a Blackvue 300G from my shed sponsor in Norway (Thanks Chocolademan Bow down )

I seem to have the main hang of hit but on its first trip out it asked me for a fresh card - its only got 4GB - at the moment.

How do i set it up so it overwrites old files automatically

Cheers.

Thumbs Up

That is in the computer program. If you have not done so yet, take out your chip and plug it into your computer and (by magic) a client program will start. There you can view the video and also change settings such as overwrite of old stuff.

I went to download the latest version of software for the one I have - DR300G - but the computer won't download the file as there appears to be something wrong with it. Has anyone downloaded it successfully? Latest is 3.040 and I'm using 3.010 - successfully - but there might be something better in the new version.

Dave I turned off the internal recording as I realised it records everything you say inside the vehicle which in some cases may be a bad thing Whistle And if you do talk it out and use it as evidence .....

Keep the sound on - especially when puting the vehicle into a garage workshop. It is great to hear what "the lads" are saying to each other as they work on your vehicle, and watching the service manager's face as you play it back to him!

download it from the pittasoft site and install on the card. then insert the card in the BV and it will install. both the card and BV need to have the same version of the soiftware to allow it to work - at least that how mines works

have you used SDFormatter to format it ?
