Hello. I am buying a new set of GGAT2 to put on a a set of 17in original D3 wheels. I have 2 questions.
1. How do the GGAT2 do on snow? I have an access dirt road up to the house that in some places (short bits) is about 25degrees and a couple of hairpins and we get a lot of snow in the winter.
2. What size should I take? There are 2 options 255/65 and 265/70. Will the 265/70's rub?
Thanks

Hopefully Andy from AJS will see this thread & advise you on size.
I live on top of a hill & on a BOAT (Byway open to all traffic) surfaced with chalk & flint.
GG ATs are ideal for this & my off roading when shooting.

Sorry you will only find AT2 in 265/70x17 which do go but can be a little tight, we keep them in stock.
Best fit is 265/65x17 but only noe available in the AT, also in stock.

Thanks Andy. Apparently they have a 265/65/17 now. Can you verify if this is the case.

I still feel even at this size that they are significantly larger than the 235/70/17 currently on. Will the 265s rub. My sport has 275s although those are 20incher but the 265s seem very wide to me.
Thanks

Cooper ST and STT are popular tyres for those who use 17" rims and drive off road. Iirc, 245/70/17" is the size. Dunc, swears by them.
If you're planning to fit non OE size tyres, do check with your insurance co. first. Some see it as a modification and I've heard of issues regarding this.

Yes the 265/65x17 is the most popular choice in 17", no they do not rub and fit under the car (spare), a 112 load rating as well.

Andy,
Whats your opinion on a GG AT2 255/70/17 112S?
Do you think this will fit a Disco 3 without rubbing?
Thanks
