Am I right in assuming that the 12my D4 does not have to have a new sat nav disc every year or so, but is upgraded by the dealer instead via software?

2012 can be done via USB G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Thanks Wiggs, is it a cheaper option or do they still charge about £150 ish for the upgrade? One more for you, at the moment still got the D3 waiting for my D4 to be built, regarding the D3 4x4 screen the grafic showing the suspension attitude etc I have two diff lock symbles one for centre diff and one for rear diff does this mean its fitted with a locking rear diff or do they all have both symbles regardless? Short of taking it off road in harsh terain to get the rear to lock up how would you know if its lockable?

All the 4x4 screens have both diff symbols, if yours is a new build it won't have a locking rear diff unless you ordered it and paid the extra.  Cheers Ian

 Whoops guy at LRE told me that they all have both diff symbols but only one lights up if you don't have the rear diff lock, just took his word for it as mine has the rear locking diff, sorry for the confusion. Cheers Ian

Interesting, I was refering to my current D3 06my, it has got both diff symbles but not sure if it has a rear locker, had the centre symble show locked when off road in mud but not the rear. Yes I have ordered rear locker on my new D4 12my
