Ebay anti roll bar links - WARNING!!!
i replaced a couple of wishbones and all the anti-roll bar bushes on my D3. At the same time i decided to fit the set of anti roll bar links i bought from ebay last year(bought for my last D3 but never fitted).
Today on my way to work i was going round a corner at about 25 mph when there was a clonk and the whole car lurched sideways . when i got to work i found the nsf anti roll bar link top ball joint pulled apart . Luckilly i had kept the old ones as there wasnt any play in them so i decided to fit them back. when i removed the other new one there was so much play that i was able to pull the top joint apart by hand
So to anyone considering EBAY link rods----DON'T

ebay
Hi Guys
sorry but I have to say YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, ebay is a source for lots of back street traders who dont give a about their customers and car parts are a very dodgy area as no one knows if there copies or not and made in some back street sweat shop.
If the part seems far to cheap and seems a good deal you have got to ask yourself is your life or your families life worth saving a few quid for, personally I think not.
Regarding suspension components I wouldnt risk it because you do not know that the metal is the correct strength, that the welding has been tested or whether the plastic or rubber used in the joint or what ever is the correct grade of material.
Please for yourself and every other road user stick to OE or a trusted source for pattern parts made and or distributed in the UK with testing certificates
cheers
