I automatically assumed the nav map would go into night mode (dim/ change to dark colors) once the headlights come on. Really annoying with the screen so bright when driving at night. Is this another example of incomplete functionality with the 2011 D4 being rushed onto the market before it was ready. Anyone know any work arounds other than turning of the screen?

Screen brightness can be adjusted in the settings, also it should dim with the overall dash dimmer control? 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial
2019 Discovery 5 HSE

My 12MY changes to night mode when its dark outside. I found it a little dim so i turned it off.
