19" Alloys - will these fit & is the load rating OK
Hi, Just seen these in the local classifieds, could be a cheap set to run as daily drivers and change to the 18" & offroad tires as and when.
Any thoughts?
Cheers!

Those are the standard HSE 19" Rims for models up to 2009. No problems for fit, load rating, brake disc clearance etc.
But, I do slightly prefer the ride quality on 18" rims.

Disco 3/4 wheels with 255x55x111V 19" Tyres
I have had two winters using a set of D3 19" rims fitted with Vredestein Wintracs (happily purchased from AJS). My original factory fit Pirelli Scorpion Zeros have been all that I have needed on road towing twin axle caravan and solo with limited off road requirements, except that at 18500miles now down to 3 - 4mm. so have been looking at the great debate on what to replace them with.
The original Pirellis have 'V' speed rating ( so suitable for up 149mph!) and that is what is specified on door plate tyre info. Have asked present insurer (RSA) if any problem fitting general Grabber AT which are 'H' rated:
Told no problem as long as within vehicle manufacturer recommendations. The man from LR (dealers) - he say NO. Also changing insurers to NFU for coming year (cheaper this year plus better cover) and on asking NFU told "as long as it is to improve safety (rather than power output or speed) not a problem to fit "H" rated". They also said that they would mark my file that they have agreed that I may be on H rated tyres generally and/or "winter" tyres in winter to assure me that there would be no tyre rating issues if a claim arises.
So looks like a "Grabber" trip to AJS in not too distant future?LRD4 HSE Ipanema Sand/Arabica trim

Now that sounds like a plan.
Don't think you can beat NFU.
