Front Wheel Bearings - done
Having just paid a garage bill for a new clutch and 4 new tyres there was still some unusual vibration left. Jacked up the FL wheel and quite a bit of top/bottom play. Thought I'd better check FR and some play, but not as much.
Ordered two wheel bearing/hub assemblies from TLO and toyed with doing them myself or pay the garage. Was about to get garage to do it when I plucked up the courage and did it myself.
Some of the nuts took some un-doing but on the whole I did both in under 3 hours so I was pleased. Was going to clean and adjust EPB but the rain came. Might do that tomorrow if quiet at work.
If you have the tools then I'd advise you get on with it. Not a bad job to do. Used the nice guide on here!
The only snag the break pad wear sensor was already cracked on the 90° bend and disintegrated when I removed it. Cheated and twisted the wires together and will get a new one sent down on Monday.
(now toying with adding audio controls and cruise control)

It's very satisfying to complete a job like that isn't it.

I've just done mine (for the 2nd time). It's not too bad and didn't break anything else either ........There is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes.
