I have read quite a number of comment about adding 2 stroke engine oil with diesel when filling up at the pumps. The question is, i blanked the egr sometime ago so does it make any difference?
I have noticed that when I use the diesel extra the performance of the car s much better nd quiter. Woul you still add 2 stroke oil even with the good stuff.

The main reason for adding 2 stroke oil as I understand it is to improve lubrication of the high pressure fuel pump. The other potential benefits such as smoother running etc are by products.
