what is he using to communicate with ?G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
Yours is a base model so it will need to be activated in the CCF.

the place i taken it to was es alternators
he a landrover disnosic person lol so he got the right kit i think but help would be great full just lose what to do next got a web site www.esalternators.co.uk
he said it was just a plug in and play but when i return with the switches he said that they could not commicate with the cc so
what do i do need ?????????????????
and yes its a billy basic that am trying to make my owen just spent all day putting in poly bushes
then still to do timing belts lol
If he has the right equipment then they need to edit the ccf file and then save it back to the car, its the only way you can get it to work, unless there is a fault on the module.

Land Rover's IDS/T4/VCM won't do it. LR believe if you bought the car without Cruise Control, then stay without it
You'll need someone with a Faultmate or Autologic to activate it in the CCF. I believe the IIDTool will do it too now.Dennis
