Diesel misfuel device
Have been struggling to fill up my new (to me) D4 HSE. Just realised that the safety misfuel device has clicked in so it was really slow to fill it up.
I had put some fuel in on the test drive as it was really low and all was fine. Once i picked the car i went to fill up and it was really slow so in between my test drive and collecting it its been set off. Thought it might just be a dodgy pump but on my second fill realised that the yellow flap was down.
Had a look in the manual and it says there should be a reset key in the boot. No luck, cant find it anywhere.
Does anyone know if these can be brought easy enough or is there another way to reset.
Thanks in advance

They can be bought from Land Rover the part number is LR014047 and they are about £12, if you bought from a Land Rover Dealer I would go back and say it's missing and also enquire why the misfueling device has been triggered.Cheers Ian

Long shot but have you tried looking in the right hand rear storage area, behind the panel on the inside of the right rear wing. Last time I looked that's where the yellow misfuel reset device was located along with some tools.

Thanks Hairy Dan.
Brought from an independant. Have not spoke to them yet, for £12 probably not worth the explanation. The disco is running lovely and Ive done 600 miles since collecting it so I dont think anything untoward was done since I test drove it to collecting it.

Checked where the tools are kept but no reset tool. Doesnt look like the tools have ever been used so oddd why the yellow tool is missing. Oh well.
Just another small thing to sort out.
