Trouble finding mineral two stroke oil
Here in Guernsey we dont have Asda/Tesco etc and am having trouble finding a mineral two stroke oil for adding to a tank of diesel. Garages either have never heard of it or are dumbfounded when I tell them what I intend mixing it with.
B&Q and some other places sell a Carlube XL red colour two stroke oil which states it's low ask and JASO-FB but doesnt say if it's mineral, synthetic etc. Some on the Defender2 forum seem to be using it.
It's this stuff:
Is this okay... is it mineral? I cant seem to find any information on it.

Try a Garden Centre or the like. They may well carry a line for lawn mowers. That's where i found mine.

Presumably you wouldn't have to pay duties etc when importing from Hungary?

If it's an EEC country, then you have to pay VAT somewhere.
Either they charge you VAT over there, or you'll have to pay VAT
over here.

Carlube in the tank this morning and it's got to be a placebo effect because I'm sure she's running quieter...
