On board fridge..

Hi all, so ive fitted the centre console fridge today. Am i right in thinking that the fridge fan shouldnt run permanently? ie when the ignition is off? Mine just seems to stay on. surely this isnt correct as it will drain the battery Sad

Hi looneyfitter

I remember posts about this, i think this was a problem if you had fitted the cheaper D4 fridge and it wouldn't shut down. There was a solution were you added a cut out switch. Most people fit the D4 fridge as its half the price but i agree you need to search the forum to find the post as you'll forget to turn it off one day. Thumbs Up

There were lots of posts regarding this just a few weeks ago.

It seems to vary from year to year and model but some do stay on when the key removed.

Do a search and you will find what other have said in more detail
