Paul - if you get one (we have one), get yourself a 4.5kg gas bottle to use with it. It means you can put it anywhere you like the (out of the wind) rather than being limited to being by the corner of the 'van where the gas outlet is (and quite often this is behind the awning flap). Legally, you are not supposed to be able to buy the gas hose in lengths more than 1 mtr (although most places dont care), and this would leave you too close to the 'van/awning.

i didnt think that was a legal requirement, but over 2m and the pressure drops. I have a 4 metre length on my Cadac and it works ok so dont know what the fuss is all aboutDuncan

the ones with self ignite are better. if not when the wind blows it out you have to remove the cooking plate to re light.

Also buy the Paela dish - I never use anything else now, its non stick and no mess, just a quick wipe out thats all. I bought the full kit every attachment and now only use this.15 3.0 RRS HSE - Silver
