| For Sale - D3 rear parking camera and monitor -unused £55 |

Hi,
I bought this on impulse at Xmas but the reality is I haven't the time (or motivation) currently to fit.
It's from Hid4u

and the monitor is 3.5 inch from the same source.
The camera neatly is fitted in a housing Included) that directly replaces the number plate light
I paid £55 in Jan for it - it's totally as new, to be honest I don't know much about how it all works...
£55 plus postage, the cameras seem to be much more than that now...

Hi,
Is this still available?
Would this work as a direct plug-in to the SatNav (so that the camera would be visible via the diagnostic screen, or in RRS mode)? Would it need an extra module to make that happen?

I am insufficiently knowledgeable to answer your question, I had hoped that with suitable wiring the rear view would show up on the sat nav screen when reverse was selected, but I've got distracted with a load of other demands so I haven't progressed that - however given previous postings there are many on here who will know how feasible that is.
I'm open to offers too if that helps!

You need a GVIF unit for the camera to work when you select reverse, or some on here have got it working on the screen when they do the wire cut on the screen for the RRS software, but if you do not want to cut wires you need a gvif unit for the camera to work.

Switch already in place so I can go into RR mode, fakra cable also already in place, just needed the all important camera. d4 HSE in Corris Grey with Black options pack
D3 with the following
