best tyres for my standard 17inch wheels |
|
Hi guys,
hope one of you can share your knowledge with me..i have a 07 plate disco3 and am looking to buff it up a little to promote my sports supplement and extreme sports business..
i have recently had a snorkel fitted, rear ladders, side rails and roof bars, and i am loving the look.
my wife has reigned me in on the spending but do need 4 new tyres. Is there any tyre out there that would fit my standard 17 inch wheels but give the illussion of a bigger wheel/tyre. without spending more than the replacement of my wranglers.
i am totally new to this so apologies in advance if this is a silly question.
thanks for any help

Worth a look at 245/70x17 which go with no rubbing, BFGoodrich MT KM2 for a mud tyre or General AT.
Other choices out there as well, I am sure more will post with their choices.

If you fit tyres that are not the standard LR size, it's wise to tell your insurance company, as technically it would be a modification from standard spec. They're hotting up on this sort of thing and you don't want to give them an excuse to wiggle out of a claim.
