Hi,
After reading threads for ages just wanted to check I have got my facts straight, on a 2010 D4 HSE.
To put in an In car pc the issues are (I think):
To get a vga input to the screen, I would need a GVIF board with a vga input (that used to exist), but now are all Composite interface, and I can use some sort of converter but would only give dodgy 800 X 600 resolution?
Assuming I got a decent VGA signal in somehow, with acceptable screen resolution, to be able to use it as a touch screen, I would need to do the mod Wiggs has posted using the little board that converts the signal from tapping into the ribbon cable to a USB which I assume presents as a mouse to the computer?
So these do seem two big hurdles, but just checking to see I have go the facts right?
