For Sale - Car PC
Car pc . Perfect working order ..i just dont use it and im running short of space in the G4 now
1.2 processor
Epia mII mini ITX mainboard
60 gb h/d ( i think )
M1-ATX power supply
Blue'ish ali case
Xp ..with original xp disk
mainboard disk
some instruction manuals
5 mtr vga lead
5 mtr USB lead
Loads very quick . Has main power and ground and an ignition wire . Turn the car off and it shuts down ( hibernates ..what ever you set it to do ) . Turn the car back on and it starts up automatically .
Will automatically shut down if the voltage is below 11 volts for more than a minute ....and only come back on when the voltage is over 11 volts .
Will except up to 28 volts input
There is only 2 usb ports on the pc ..i have added another couple ( just plug into the mainboard )...these can be removed if you dont want them .
Also included is a usb wireless card ...all set up and working at the moment.
I just added a small 250gb h/d when i was using it to store media on ..can easily be removed if you want to update anything ..these are cheap as chips nowadays
At the moment there is some centrafuse car pc software on there . I cant find my keyboard and mouse ..so i cant do much to remove it .
I will get one if the new owner wants it wiped ..but theres not much on there .
£200 plus postage ...its quite heavy
I may also have a 7" stand alone touch screen for sale ...when i can find itG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

I did exactly the same with mine a year or two ago using an almost identical riser plate with 2 USB sockets connected directly to the spare USB3 and 4 pins on the motherboard - I've also cut a chunk out of the case and have the leads coming out of the back like yours.
I thought that I was very clever and that no-one else would ever think of doing the same.....

would the touch screen fit in the top of the centre console where the land rover screen goes. I aint got a screen there!!

Its about 10mm to wide and about 10mm too tall

this will make you laugh colin, so you can remove the buttons and it will fit then? BUT where would you place the buttons and where are the input connections, side or rear? and if you say it would fit could YOU fit it for me?

Didnt say it would fit ..said it may be possible
Inputs are on a lead ..so thats not a problem .
Only button you would realy need is the on / off ..so could quite easily wire that to come on with the ignition .
The others are only to set up the picture ..once done they could be hidden somewere for future fiddling .
Can i do it ...unfortunatly not ...no time to do my own stuff let alone any one else's

OK was worth an ask! if you could get a pix of it that would be great might have a go at fitting it depending on price I was thinking of fitting a PC Is there another screen that would fit the space better?
