When un locking the doors on the drivers side there is a quite loud squeak from the door lock area anybody had this before

I have just started to notice this and I think it is coming from the OSR door lock, sounds more like dry plastic being rubbed together rather than a metalic sound. Is that the same as yours MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

I had this on drivers door and later on the passenger door. Both times it resulted in a new door latch under warranty. Dealers weren't interested until it failed though. So be warned, you will most probably end up with a disco that either won't lock one door or won't open one door, but will unlock three other doors. Dealers also didn't care that I couldn't lock it and that they couldn't book it in for over a week!!!

That sounds about right it's started to do strange things when I lock it is mirrors fold in but it bleeps to say a door is open so you have to play about to lock then unlock
