New Shop Product - FBH wire+pin Mk2

Hi all,

There is now a new product stocked in the site shop - an upgraded version of the FBH pin and wire.

The Mk2 wire now includes the terminal seal, meaning there is now no additional sealing required or risk of water ingress when connecting to the WBUS pin on your FBH for control or diagnostic purposes.

The cable is red to match the wiring colour used on the very early D3s with this line fitted, and 30cm in length, and is also stripped and tinned end at the free end (a further upgrade over the previous generation).

They are also cheaper Mr. Green than the old part (now when was the last time that happened), just £1.20 per item - the old yellow version was £1.50 per cable

Arrow Buy now = £1.20 each

Delivery available WORLDWIDE

What does it do? Looks suspiciously like something that needs something else (apart from the FBH, I mean) to make it useful...

It allows an FBH controller - e.g. Danhag, Webasto oval timer, BAS kit - to connect to the FBH to allow manual control of it, giving park heater functionality and/or diagnostics.

Only on very early D3s is the necessary control line (WBUS) wire factory fitted, and so this wire can be used to add the connection where required.

The terminal pin end fits the 8 pin plug on the FBH, and the free end is connected up to whichever box of tricks you would like to control or talk to the FBH with.

The irony of these coming into stock just as we had what was probably the last frost of the season is not lost on me Laughing
