I've had my MY12 for about four weeks and up until yesterday, the DAB radio system worked extremely well. Now it has a flashed up a sign "No Reception". All the pre-tuned channels have disappeared from their button numbers and over a period of 24 hours in different parts of Devon where I had uninterrupted reception, Nada!
Any ideas out there?

From an earlier post - works for me (MY10)
OK - just checked, there are 3 DAB settings DAB1-3, displayed on the very top display bar next to the staition name.
At the bottom of the display, there is another soft touch button that toggles the setting described above from DAB1 to 3, mine works on 1 and 3, 'no reception' flashes up in top display bar on DAB 2
Mine in DAB3 - works all over South East, West and North of England
Give it a go - might do the trick

Thanks Adam. Slightly different display on MY12 I think but it just touched the top of the display screen where it read DAB 1 and the missing channels came back as did the reception. Result.

I have owned the 2012my since november and travel all over the uk listening to dab, mainly 80's cos i'm a dude.
Anyway, i use all three dab settings and when i lose reception i retuned the dab and recorded my channels under dab2, then the same on dab 3 when the signal went again.
Across the three now i get 95% coverage over the uk, except Scotland, which is fine so i can concentrate looking for camera vans. Sounds like a bit of a faf but it works well.

DAB in my XK
......its a bit of a learning curve to get it set up (which is ridiculous) but when it is set up the reception & sound is very good
The Jag/LR DAB system is quite good & worth the extra £razzoos BREXIT - done properly.

Hi, as I understand it (which might not be well) there is a 'link' setting which allows the DAB radio to search for the station if you drive into another area of reception. Sounds like it might be worth having this set to 'On'. D4 SDV6 HSE 11MY - Gone
D3 TDV6 HSE 08MY - Gone

Yep - set the link to "on"
I thought DAB 1-3 were just three pages of station memories? they are on the 11MY
I can drive all over the UK without touching a button or losing reception?

Can you come and visit me then? Not been particulalry impressed with DAB, we seem to have quite a few dead spots round us, whcih in reality means the radio gets left on FM

Curiously, I had exactly this in my MY10. DAB was working fine Mon evening, got in Tues am and got the no reception message. I hadn't changed a thing in between. Toggled through dab1 to 3 nothing anywhere on any programmed channel. Drove 90 miles to work using old fm and tried dab from time to time in case local transmission was off but still got nothing.
Switched car off, went to work. Came back many hours later, switched on and DAB worked perfectly again. been fine since too.
My money is on car somehow glitching and not picking up signal somehow. So, if you haven't accidentally pressed a button I suspect turning off and allowing car to properly shut down will reset things.

I can travel all the way from North Wales with perfest DAB then it cuts off at Winnats Pass and is intermittent all the way to surprise view. Hope valley reception is just crap. The only place in England and Wales that I've been disappointed.

I do regularly as my Mum lives in Grindleford!
Dab works perfectly all the way there and back?

Hmmm - maybe it is jsut a local DAB issue.
Ours works in Grindleford, but loses signal on the road to Hathersage. Intermittant then all along the valley as previously said all the way through Castleton, and the same if heading out towards Ladybower.
The annoying thing, is that unlike FM that just crackles a little, DAB just cuts in and out which is far more annoying
(Just like modern mobile phones over the 1st generation, but thats a different story)
