1st Year Service ... How much ??!!! |
|
Well lets just say, nearly spat my coffee out this morning when I found out how much our first year service was going to cost at our Land Rover garage ... £442 to be precise.
We have already had two issues with the car (leaky sun roof down to a washer not put in correctly and squeaky suspension due to bolt not tightened sufficiently - both issues with production line but easily fixed by the team, however inconvenient for me).
Any recommendations, suggestions, thoughts on this would be really appreciated.
P.
p.s. can't believe we have had the car for a year ... I love it to pieces but how many Stornoway D4s are there around here? It's like they have been cloned !!!!!

Got my first service in April so called around this morning:
* 1st dealer quoted me £392 less discount of 10%, so £352.80 (but they're not the nearest to me)
* 2nd dealer quoted me £375-380. Why can't they be specific
* 3rd dealer quoted me £450. They are 4 miles from me. So I quoted them the £352.80 and they then beat it, giving it to me for £350

I had this on my BMW 520d Touring too, and sold it before ever getting to make use of it (condition based maintenance).
What mileage was your first service?

Not there yet, just at 7.5k miles & 11 months. First service due at 18k miles or (more likely) 2 years. F11 520d Touring SE with toys.
