TPMS Failure

My TPMS has stopped working ! I didn't notice until today when I had an obvious flat rear tyre, but no TPMS message. As it normally works in the background I've had no reason to check the settings for some time. However in the settings menu there is no TPMS seting option available now!

Anyone else suffered a similar problem?

Yes i've had a couple of flats where i've noticed before the car. Flagged it up with my local dealer and apparently the system only checks every 15mins, sounds ridiculous so now asked LR tech to explain how the system should work and im awaiting a reply.

Can you see the option in vehicle settings to change between normal and full/heavy load?

I can see the option but only with the ignition on without the engine running. If i'd paid for the option i'd be quite upset, as it is it came with the car so not really that bothered.

Although you'd think for the extra they charge it would be able to tell you the pressure of any given wheel at any given time!!

hi mate,im a lr tech, and recently had this fault.there is a recall where the tyres need removing to check if the sensors are cracked.when this is sorted the fault needs clearing, then a ten to fifteen minite roadtest above a slow speed, think its 20kph ish, stop car,fit spare if it also has a sensor, another drive, then wheels back to where they were, that should do it.
