hi all just had my M O T done it came back that my tryes are getting close to the legal limet which is 1.6mm i think but is it differant if thay are all terraian as thay have a deeper tread

all terrains with 1.6mm on could be classed as slicks

the thing is that the tread is at least 5mm from the wear indicator on the trye david race

ISTR it's 1.6 across at least 75% of the tread band, with visible tread across the 25%. You sure you're not almost bald on the inside of the tyre from tracking being out? Might be 5mm there but bald on the inside, easy not not to see unless you look for it.

Yeah me to i had two new ones on the front so the mot tester put the same thing that my back ones needed changed soon and the brake pipes it,s in the computer to check the brakes pipes on disco 3 after 2005 models,,,,,
