Site went down... missed all the new posts today as I was going through them.
So apologies for not being there
Martin,
I think the auto refresh on the new posts page seems to cause it to forget which posts you have not read ???

Erm... didn't realise the site went down again
The auto-refresh seems to work ok for me, but I've not tried it lots - you're the guinea pig
Do you mean once it refreshes it only brings up the new posts since the last refresh, rather than all those since your last visit? Maybe it's a problem with the 5 minute refresh :S I might bring it down to 2 mins if you think that's ok?
I know that the New Posts page is a bit buggy, but that's the forum software and unfortunately I can't do a lot to it without re-writing the whole thing

Maybe its the forum app... just sometimes you go back to the new posts page and its 'forgotten' all the post in the list that you have not read yet and displays only one or two of the most recent ones.
I think this is how BN has beaten me in the number of posts
Could also be a Safari thing too... think I am one of the very few with a Mac and not using MSIE ???
Dunno... all other sites seem to behave as they should... weird.

I think it's maybe phpBB playing up, sometimes I visit the site and it doesn't show any new posts at all, even though I know there have been posts - e.g. visiting at 10am after last visit at 1am, with BN having posted lots at 7.30am
I've now got the new posts window open in a tab in Firefox to see if it'll work properly.
Funnily enough, Safari is a more popular browser on DISCO3 than Firefox/Mozilla

Coool... whats the percentage browser wise for hitting the site ?
Be nice to see how many other Mac users are DISCO3 drivers...

of course... getting fed up with 'em.
Had this massive barbecue you see and now they are all gone... shame really.
They only live on the forum now as a virtual reminder that they used to exist.
