First Glitch - Nav Screen Reboot |
|
I had my first glitch recently during a return trip of 850 miles to move a relation to Amsterdam. I haven't done many miles in the old girl yet (1500 since new in November), but when I go out I usually give it a bit of a blow.
Anyway, about 100 miles from home, with everything turned on - lights, CD, satnav, wipers etc. I pulled on the windscreen washers, like I had many times on the journey, and the nav screen rebooted. It all came back to life no problem and didn't repeat itself, so I will simply monitor it rather than mess about taking it in to the dealership.
Other than that the car has been absolutely superb, although fuel consumption a little dissappointing at 29 mpg on a long run at motorway speeds (ish), and this measured on tank fills, not the lieometer. I had the Wranglers at 36/42 because I was fully loaded going out, so load might have reduced mpg. I guess it might improve as the engine loosens up. MY12 D4 HSE Ipanema Sand
